tonight I watched my sister in the garden with her hamster alfie.
he was out in his run and it was getting dark. and alice tried to call alfie and pick him up so she could take him back to his safe warm hutch for the night. but alfie just wouldn't listen. he kept running away and dodging alice's attempts to take him home. I bet he figured alice was trying to spoil his fun, and got pretty annoyed. He ran and ran and ran.
but after a while he just gave in and let alice pick him up.
she knew best.
