synonyms

you know, when we have to describe another word. and all we can do is use words we already have, or compare it to things we already have. so with everything and anything in this world, all we do to describe is say what it's similar to. what if there was something that we'd never encountered before, which no words could describe, because it was greater than anything we'd ever seen? I'd like to think that our humility would let us wonder and not try to explain or understand because our wisdom tells us that we never can. not in this life anyway.
